“Candidates present proof of their CompTIA certification/s directly to
the employer/educator by using either the PDF certificate feature or the
‘Transcript’ feature, both available through the candidate record
database and both verifiable. These are the only CompTIA approved methods of
certification verification available to our Certified Professionals.”

The certifications include a verification URL of
http://verify.CompTIA.org and each
certification also has a unique verification code. The verification URL
redirects to CompTIA's
secure verification form at certmetrics.com and that web page will
accept the code from the certificate. For verified codes, the verification
site will show the name of the certified person and the verification site
will also mention that the certification is active.
I found that the “Fulfillment” record (available on the
individual's logged in CompTIA account) also provides an additional code.
